Pomodoro Technique

The Pomodoro technique is a popular time management method. It works by alternating between phases of work, so-called Pomodoros, and short breaks.

Pomodoro helps you add structure to your work hours. People find that it helps reduce distractions and procrastination. It also helps if you work past the point of optimal productivity. We've all been there.

Weekrise's built-in Pomodoro timer is available for all Pro or Team-Plan customers. It helps you keep track of these phases and times them for you.

To open the Pomodoro timer, click on Pomodoro in the top-right corner. When you're ready: press the play button to start. As time progresses, more and more of the timer will turn dark to indicate how far you've progressed. You can pause at any time.

When a Pomodoro or a break is almost done, you will hear a clock ticking. When a phase is over we will play a sound to let you know.

By default, Pomodoros are 25 minutes and breaks are 5 minutes. You can change these durations in the settings.
